How does it work?
It’s scientifically proven that listening to certain audio can cause changes in the brain. By listening to certain frequencies you can alter your brainwaves and state of being. Michaël Bijker composes audio tracks to easily and quickly improve your brain and reach a desired state of being. These tracks can help to boost focus and concentration, promote relaxation, or reduce stress and anxiety.
How can isochronic tones and binaural beats improve my brain?
The brain is a complicated organ, but at the root of all our thoughts, emotions and behaviour lies the communication between neurons within our brain. Neurons communicate with one another via electric impulses. "Brain waves'' are produced by this communication and these brain waves we can influence with carefully produced audio.
It is the rhythm of isochronic tones and binaural beats that help to sync the brain to a specific frequency. When listening to music produced with a specific purpose it can be used to induce a desired state such as relaxation, sleep or deep focus. This is also called brainwave entrainment, i.e. the use of sound to prompt the brain to access a particular state. The concept behind it is centuries old. It’s said that the ancient Greeks already used brainwave frequencies in order to induce altered states.
